Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your thoughts — too loud, too close, too fast? Maybe it shows up as tension in your body, a heaviness you can’t quite name, or a quiet pressure to keep going even when your mind feels exhausted.
You’re not alone.
As a licensed CBT psychotherapist working in my own private practice, I spend my days meeting people in exactly these moments. I listen to their worries, their self-doubt, their overthinking, their shame, and the quiet exhaustion that often sits beneath it all. And no matter who sits in front of me, I see the same human themes: daily challenges that feel heavier than they look, patterns that seem impossible to change, and a simple wish for something steady and practical to hold onto.
That longing is what shaped both the shop and the blog.
Everything here comes directly from my clinical work — the approaches I use with clients every day, the scientific foundations I was trained in, and the gentle therapeutic strategies that actually make a difference. Each tool translates the support of a therapy session into something you can reach for at home: clear, grounding, and kind.
They’re built on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which rests on a simple idea:
What you think influences how you feel.
How you feel shapes what you do.
And what you do can keep the cycle going — or help it soften.
This CBT triangle quietly guides every tool in this shop.
But this project is personal, too. It’s shaped not only by my therapeutic work, but by my own journey of slowing down, finding balance, and learning to meet life with more compassion — often with Frieda, my dog, curled up beside me, reminding me to breathe.
My hope is that these tools arrive like a quiet conversation: steady, respectful, and just in time. Because whatever you’re carrying — you’re not alone, and you’re not failing. You’re human.
